The engineered bones of the concept — load-bearing masonry, stone anchoring, and the rotation systems that make the pavilion possible.

Two roof systems carry the concept: a warm, waterproofed flat roof over the fixed wing, and a segmented retractable canopy over the rotating pavilion — structure, insulation, membrane, discharge and access decided together.

Every wet area, roof slab and roof edge depends on waterproofing that is designed, tested and maintainable — membranes and tanking hidden behind the stone.

The aperture over the pavilion is glazing, not a hole: it needs a tested frame, drainage, shading and a way to close against weather.

Tall curved glass wraps the pavilion; large straight panes open the fixed wing. Each curve demands a safety, insulation and solar-control decision.

Every pane is treated, not just glazed: curtains on a curved track in the pavilion, layered blinds and sheers to the fixed wing, and external screens that cut the coastal sun before it reaches the glass.

Glass is the material the concept leans on hardest — curved, structural, frameless and switchable, inside and out.

A bronze-framed pivot door marks the threshold between the fixed wing and the rotating pavilion.

Dark stone piers and slender bronze-toned vertical fins define the exterior language of the fixed wing. Composite cladding panels are a candidate for the service areas.

The concept moves: a rotating pavilion, long stone runs and large paving fields all need joints that take the movement and still read as a considered detail.

Slate carries the same dark, quiet weight as the stone piers — as cladding, as flooring, and on the low roof edges where it is seen.

Warm stone and marble inside; slip-rated exterior porcelain, stone, or composite decking outside.

Tiling finishes the wet rooms and service spaces, with edging profiles that give every tile return the same precision as the stone.

The main terrace stays stone. Timber decking is invited where a softer walking surface belongs — the garden boardwalk, the pool surround and the outdoor shower.

Marble is used as a single-slab material — floors, vanities, counters and one backlit wall.

The services discipline behind comfort: heating, cooling, ventilation, water plant and the mechanical drive that turns the pavilion.

Taps, mixers and sanitaryware are the parts residents touch every day — bronze-toned, wall-mounted and unified across every suite.

Deep red seating anchors the pavilion; warm bronze detailing traces the rotating roof. The kitchen sits flush behind continuous bronze panels.

Loose pieces finish the rooms: seating, rugs, curtains and the soft weight that makes stone and glass liveable.

What the eye actually meets: plaster, screeds, joinery, trims and the decorative finish systems under the stone.

Internal wall surfaces beyond the structural stone: veneer, lining, textured and acoustic finishes.

Coatings protect what the concept shows: masonry, stone, slate and the bronze-toned surfaces.

Three walls carry the concept: the bronze screen at the entrance, the backlit stone behind the lounge, and a timber slat wall to the wing.

Dark stone paths thread through low, indigenous planting. A reflecting pool mirrors the turning pavilion and the sky.

A still reflecting pool sits beyond the rotating platform, needing its own waterproofing and filtration.

The rotation, roof retraction, blinds and emergency stopping are the automated heart of the concept — one system, sensing the weather and running every scene.

Bronze ceiling detailing carries integrated lighting along the rotating roof line.

Kitchen appliances sit flush behind continuous bronze panels in the junction between wing and pavilion.

The site sits in full coastal sun: generation, storage, hot water and the metering to prove what the concept saves — and to carry the pavilion through a grid outage.

Water independence for the garden and the pool: a tested borehole, treated and stored, with a compliant changeover to municipal supply for the house.

A glass pavilion needs its own defence: detection at the boundary, discreet surveillance, controlled access at the bronze portal, and a monitored response link.
